Applied Behavior Analysis
Applied Behavior Analysis is a scientific framework focused on understanding how the environment influences behavior. By identifying the "why" behind an action, we can teach new skills, foster independence, and reduce barriers to learning. Traditionally, it uses systematic data to track progress and refine strategies.
At Integrative Methods, we strongly believe ABA should be as compassionate as it is clinical. We focus on connection and autonomy. We distinguish between a "won't" and a "can't", ensuring our interventions never push against an individual's nervous system.

Occupational Therapy
OT is a health profession that focuses on improving an individual’s ability to perform everyday tasks that are important and meaningful to the them thereby enhancing their quality of life. Our OT's can help in the areas of sensory integration, social and play skills, attention, cognition, perceptual and motor tasks such as handwriting and coordination, emotional and psycho-social skills, and self-care as well as adapting tasks or materials to facilitate participation, promote success, and increase independence.

Our OTs look at the relationship between the person’s physical abilities, their sensory processing, and the environment they are in. They lead with kindness by prioritizing emotional regulation and focusing on the tools and adaptations that honor their unique way of moving through the world.

Support Services
In addition to direct treatment, we offer other forms of support.

Tailored Learning Workshops: We bring our "structure with kindness" philosophy to schools and centers through individualized workshops. These sessions are custom-built to help your staff understand the unique neurology of the individuals they serve and how to best support them.
Consultations: Our team provides both local in-person and distant remote consultation to families and professionals. We offer specialized oversight for programs looking to integrate more flexible, compassionate, and evidence-based practices.

Clinical Studies
Integrative Methods strives to provide the highest quality therapeutic services. We run internal clinical studies to support our intervention as well as to share our findings with others.
Studies have included the use of competing stimuli to assist with orientation for learning, visual supports to enhance communication (number of words), hand signals to facilitate phonetic reading, and the use of diagrams to enhance reading comprehension.
